My best friend Heidi's husband, Perry came home from a long deployment on the USS Eisenhower yesterday. He was with VAQ 140 and although the ship pulls into Norfolk his squadron still has to catch an airlift back to Whidbey Island. I met him at the Air Terminal to welcome him half-way home. It was Heidi's birthday and so it was perfect timing and a great gift for him to come back on that day. Less than 40 days until I get to welcome Bobby home and I can't wait!!!
