On the Thursday night before Bobby's Winging we attended the "Soft Patch Ceremony". It is a less formal affair where Bobby's On-wing, the instructor that familiarized him with the Th-57, "pinned on" a new patch to be worn on his flight suit. The only difference being the addition of wings. We were fortunate to have our family and friends join us for this and Rylee attended, as usual, in the most appropriate fashion she could possibly wear.
