When we returned from our cruise it was already time to start preparing for Christmas. Out come all of the boxes and lights and trimmings to be unpacked and put out until after New Years. It all goes by pretty quick for Bobby and me but, the kids cherish every moment. Trimming the tree is one of Rylee's favorite activities. Each ornament brings back a memory. We collect an ornament from everywhere we have lived as well as a few special places that we have visited. It is always fun to unwrap the ornaments and talk about them as we go. Every year, since she was old enough, Rylee has placed the angel on top of our tree. She always does a great job. We put candy canes on the tree but, it only took a few minutes before RJ was taking them off and eating them as fast as he could. Needless to say we are left with a few candy canes on the top and RJ is left with very fresh and minty breath :-)
