GPAC Fall Invitational
This past weekend Rylee swam in the GPAC Fall Invitational. This was the first time she swam against swimmers from other teams. Her events were 25 yard breast, 25 yard butterfly, 25 yard backstroke, 100 IM relay, 100 IM and 50 freestyle. Overall, she did very well. She had a great time and felt a huge sense of accomplishment (and extreme fatigue) after completing the 100 IM event. It was tiring just watching her swim 100. We were all just screaming and hoping that she would do well. It was a blast. It was a 2-day meet and a very busy weekend. We are so very proud of her and can't wait to see her improve. RJ was a great little brother during the whole meet. He helped to cheer her on and was very well behaved while we waited between events. Bobby is used to these swim meets, having grown up a swimmer, and I am learning rather quickly about how it all works. I now understand why Grandpa Bob brought reading and things to pass the time between Bobby's events :-)
