These lanterns were hanging everywhere, very pretty.
The animal topiaries were sculpted by the same artists that did the animals in the film Edward Scissorhands.
Alcohol is not served at the Tavern on the Green until noon. We order our blood marys at 1155 so we had to wait a whole 5 minutes.
Behind me is a beautiful greenhouse filled with tables for seating and it was very lavishly decorated including colorful chandeliers.
During our visit to Central Park on Sunday we had a drink at the Tavern on the Green. We had a great morning. We picked up bagel sandwiches and coffee and walked to Central Park to eat.
