On Wednesday Bobby left for deployment. He will be on the USS Kearsarge in Central and South America on a humanitarian mission. He is scheduled to be home December 1st. The day we dropped him off, the kids and I headed up to NY for a little rest and relaxation. It was incredible. We had such a great time and my Uncle Jon and Aunt Erica couldn't have made us feel more at home or more comfortable. I didn't want to leave and I can't wait to get back there. The air smelled so good and clean and fresh. It was so nice to not have to rush around or deal with traffic and just enjoy family. The kids had a wonderful time. They really enjoyed being able to play in such a huge yard (field). Erica and I made jars for the kids with candy in order to count down the days until Bobby gets back. They have been very diligent in keeping up with it.

RJ was told exactly how to pick green beans and he was concentrating so hard on doing it right. he did a great job.
He also learned the very important "twisting" technique for picking zucchini
