After attending a required Navy school in Maine Bobby had the opportunity to visit Bob and Jean at "Hole in the Wall", their home on Lake Winnie. After a brisk but nice boat ride around the lake one morning, Bobby was pleasantly surprised to see a 1946 sea plane landing near by. He has always wanted to fly in one and was happy to be able to admire one so closely. Bob proceeded to say, "Let's go take a closer look." So they walked 2 houses down to see it and Bob said, "Bobby, you want to go for a ride?" and Bobby was a little perplexed and unaware that Bob had chartered the plane for Bobby to fly. What a great surprise and what a great view. Below are some pics from one of Bobby's best days ever.
