On Sunday, May 7th Rylee had her First Holy Communion at St. Michael's Church where she was also baptized. She has been preparing through her CCD classes for months and her big day finally arrived. She looked beautiful and did a great job with all that Father Pete tasked her with. Sunday was also the May Crowning and Rylee was also asked to crown Mary. Rylee and I were both very busy preparing for her big day. Father Pete asked me to make a new crown and we both brought up the gifts. As if all of that wasn't enough, Rylee also asked if Father would allow her to do a reading. She read the second reading and did a great job. Many were touched by it. After mass friends and family joined us for a reception at Bon Appetit in Gulf Breeze. She was very grateful to have received many wonderful gifts.
